P6 Framework as an effective Social Media Strategy
This is a generation in which Social Media has become an integral part of everyone's life. We access the various social networking sites to get connected with our dear and near ones, to send them birthday wishes, to post our thoughts and express them to our chosen audience, share our pictures with them and so on.
But, have you ever seen the other side of the coin?
Huge business is taking place everyday through social media and that's what we call as Social Media Marketing.
Don't you see frequent ads in your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram accounts? Sometimes they are closely related to the searches we do in Google, aren't they? Though there are list of things that one must be aware of while diving into Social Media Marketing, here is one great strategy which will be of definite use. It's called the P6 Framework.
P - Prioritize
Considering the goals of Social media marketing, the right audience have to be given priority. Suppose if the product has to do something with children's health drink, the target must be the mothers rather than children. As obviously children don't take any buying decision.
P - Publish
In digital marketing, Content plays a major role. Writing creative content will help achieve your goals in social media. It's important to publish attractive content to attract potential customers.
P - Participate
Now that the step of publishing the content is over, we must engage the right people to derive positive results. We will know how people participate by seeing the reach of an Ad, comments or shares.Participation also means responding to the queries of customers. This gives us an idea on the acceptance of our product.
P - Produce
Social media is your social factory. Use it to co-create your product with "Crowd". Create appropriate crowdsourcing, co-creation, product configuration, community projects etc.
P - Platform
There are so many platforms in Social Media and marketing does happen in all of them. One has to choose the right platform based on the target audience. If your intention is to target professional then you have no better option than LinkedIn. Likewise there are special features in each platform.
P - People
A CAT team is a must for succeeding in Social Media Marketing. CAT where C is for Creative, A for Analytical and T for Technical. Creative team works on the content; be it a blog, vlog or designing task, Analytical team are business analysts and Technical people are the web developers or programmers.
The strategy for each company will be different.
